About
This blog is about my two favorite subjects, theology and technology. I started it several years ago as a way to collect my thoughts, and to just post interesting things in general. Since that time, I’ve been working on developing my skills and education in both fields.
I currently work as a software engineer as outsourced labor to a major aerospace company. I get to test really interesting software systems. I have a Graduate Certificate in Software Engineering from Brandeis University, and am working on completing the Master of Software Engineering program in couple of years.
I’m a member of the IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, and the ACM. I also subscribe to theological journals from the Evangelical Theological Society, and the Evangelical Philosophical Society.
My undergraduate studies were in theology, specifically with the emphasis of pastoral ministry. I hold a Bachelor of Biblical Studies degree from Boston Baptist College.
Hopefully this blog will help others to see the good in theology and technology. Maybe in some small way I can contribute to the conversation about Christianity and science.
All of us who write and blog do so from a specific perspective or worldview. Some of my perspectives are:
- Politics: Libertarian
- Conservative Christian, following Baptist and Anabaptist traditions
- Christian Pacifist
- Strong preference for Free Software, as opposed to Open Source or proprietary
