There remains for us only the very narrow way, often extremely difficult to find, of living every day as though it were our last, and yet living in faith and responsibility as though there were to be a great future...

Political views, part 2

It seems as though the libertarians have had some trouble getting Bob Barr on the ballot in CT. Unless this situation gets resolved, I’m going to have to rethink who I’m voting for. At this point, I will probably vote for Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party, who is going to be allowed as a certified write-in candidate. My only concern with the Constitution Party is exactly how they would enact “Biblical principles” without discriminating against other beliefs; but they do have the closest ideology of any of the candidates that I could vote for.

I’m really unhappy this election; the candidate I wanted to vote for was not able to be on the ballot, and any mainstream candidates are not appealing to me. I really hope there is a change in our political system soon. Why do we let the media and two-party system determine who will be our next leader?
