I’m having a problem installing Dreamweaver 7.0. The program installs ok, and asks if I want the “designer” or “coder” view. I pick the one I wanted (designer), and then click ok. The application disappears, and subsequent tries to start the program cause nothing to come up. I called up Adobe technical support, and after being on hold and on the phone for half an hour, I finally get routed to the correct department, to only be told that my product isn’t supported over the phone any more. Great customer service. I really like Adobe products, but that is very, very poor. They recommended going onto their forums and asking the question there.
If any of my readers know how to fix this, let me know. If I figure it out, I’ll also post it here. Reformatting the computer is not an option, and the software shouldn’t be that dependent that I would have to do that.

How nice of Adobe to divorce you from their phone support after you’ve already purchased their product. Wish I could help but I am useless in that area.
Thanks for coming by my blog and commenting. Us new bloggers need all the readers we can get. I think what you’re doing with your career and school is fantastic and you’ll be amazed how you’ll be used. My husband and I met out east in a ministry in New Hampshire and had plenty of friends that went to Gordon Conwell.
Most of our lives, my husband felt that he would end up doing ministry “vocationally” and almost made the jump about a year and a half ago. It was around that time that he and I both became convinced that he was needed in the ‘marketplace’, and was to be a man of God there instead of leading a church. I think he has had a huge impact because of that. I also know that God does place others in a church that way and I’m glad He does. I just think it’s great to have some ‘out in the world’ experience before working ‘in the church’.
P.S. Too bad you’re not out in the midwest…..judging from your blog, you look like the kind of techie/entrepreneurial guy my husband would want to have working with him. He’s an IT director.
