There remains for us only the very narrow way, often extremely difficult to find, of living every day as though it were our last, and yet living in faith and responsibility as though there were to be a great future...

What have I been up to?

I’ve been taking some time off to get some rest after my last side project. I’ve been practicing my piano skills, and also assembling a small studio. So far things have been going well. Also, I received all my books for this semester’s course in project management. It will fit in very well with my day job, and one of the books, a novel called “The Deadline”, by Tom DeMarco, looks like it will be well worth my reading time. In fact, I’m reading it early before class starts!

I also conducted Sunday worship services at a couple of churches in the area. That was fun to do, but I’ll probably hold off on more speaking engagements until next year.

I should have some kind of post soon about Christianity and attitudes at work. Before I do that, I want to try and read the book by David Miller, “God at Work”, to gain some additional insights into this trend of integrating faith and the workplace.
