There remains for us only the very narrow way, often extremely difficult to find, of living every day as though it were our last, and yet living in faith and responsibility as though there were to be a great future...

NET Bible

A guy at church a few weeks ago recommended the NET Bible to me. The advantage to this translation is that, according to their website, there are over 60,000 translator notes. I’ll be trying this version out, and seeing how well I like it. I primarily use the ESV when I do serious study with Logos, but I may consider using the NET Bible as a reference.

If you go to the NET Bible website, you can download a copy in several formats for free. If I like it, I will probably pay for the Libronix version, as well as a hard copy in case I want to bring that Bible to church. I would really love to bring my laptop to church and use Logos, but I think it would be too distracting, and I’d probably end up chasing too many of my own trails, instead of listening to the sermon.
