There remains for us only the very narrow way, often extremely difficult to find, of living every day as though it were our last, and yet living in faith and responsibility as though there were to be a great future...

Reflections on Christmas blessings

I’m officially on Christmas vacation now. Work is getting very busy,
so it will be nice to have the time off. I have been thinking about
the blessings that I have, and the graciousness of God in giving them
to me. I’m sitting on a couch in a nice warm house, using wireless
internet and a Cingular 8125 pocket PC to compose this blog entry.
Some see technology as a curse; I see it as a blessing. One of the
callings of my life is software engineering, and I hope to use this
time to reflect and meditate on how I can best glorify God with my
life and the callings he has given to me. I want my life, personal
and professional, to be an act of worship to Him.
