We had a good trip to Watertown, CT today to preach. I loaded up the family van with APRS equipment (this means GPS, a tracking controller, and an amateur radio) to track our path. We didn’t quite track all the way out. I think part of it is that I didn’t have an antenna with good gain on the van, plus I had to run 10 watts of power to avoid overloading the cigarette lighter electrical system. Also, we were in the hills of CT, and it can sometimes be hard for radio signals to get out where they need to be. If you click on the picture and look closely, the green dots show where the position was reported over the radio and relayed to the internet.
It was a good day filled with teaching on Isaiah 63-65.
